Virtual Machine Infrastructure, SAN (Storage Area Network), Core Network Switching, Backup and Recovery. Our MSP will provide installation and Professional Services.
The scope for this document is associated with SAN Environment (Storage Area Network). Our current configuration is approaching 5yrs of operation. We are currently over 80% capacity on our storage utilization. The system consist of 7200 RPM HDD (Hard Disk Drives) this means they’re platter based and have moving parts. The new configuration will have SSD (Solid State Drives) these have no moving parts and are much faster. Also, with today’s data security and staying in compliance with HIPPA these drives will be FIPS 140-2 compliant. FIPS 140-2 is a U.S. government standard that describes the encryption and related security requirements that IT products should meet for sensitive use. This will guarantee our data and intellectual property is stored on secure encrypted devices. Below is what we will use for our new SAN product.
